A Bit About Me

Forward-thinking and highly ambitious UEFA Pro Licence qualified Coach who has made the seamless transition into this arena following a successful playing career in the Premier League and Championship with Everton and Arsenal as well as, representing England.


Driven and dedicated Coach who has gained experience within a first team environment at Ipswich Town FC, has cultivated a proven track record in player development in previous roles at Everton FC and is proficient in designing innovative coaching curriculums to enhance this process, at first team and Academy level.


Self-motivated individual who possesses a proven capacity to lead across all areas of training; at first team and Academy level, match days, analysis and talent identification and can operate as a key member of a multi-disciplined management team.

Assisted and supported the Manager and first team coaching staff with the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of

coaching sessions.

EVERTON FC U23 COACH

Monitored, managed and drove the performance and development of the club’s U23 squad, in conjunction with the U23 Head Coach, through tailored coaching in line with Everton FC’s philosophy, ethos, vision and player pathway strategies.

EVERTON FC INTERIM FIRST TEAM COACH
Taking responsibility for the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of all players working alongside Manager, Robbie Fowler.

Francis is known for...

Jeffers started his career at his boyhood club Everton, making his debut in 1997 as a 16-year-old. After scoring 20 goals in 60 appearances for Everton, he signed for Arsenal in 2001. During his time at Arsenal, he won the FA Cup twice in 2002 and 2003.

He represented England at U15, U16, and U21 levels, becoming the joint-top scorer of the England U21 team after scoring 13 goals in 16 appearances, a record which he held up until 2020. In February 2003, Jeffers made his senior debut for the England national team, scoring against Australia in his one senior cap for England.
